Day 58 – Portland, OR (Day 9)

It’s overcast and cool today.

A light rain started around 2:30pm.  It’s the first rain we’ve seen since arriving in Oregon.

About the Day

Tim left for his conference while everyone else was sleeping. 

Dick took Jacob and Anna to school.  It’s picture day.

Carol and Barbara got together for a mom/daughter breakfast.

Dick started prepping the trailer.

Dick collected Jacob and Anna from school.

Tim returned from his conference.

Elizabeth returned from her retreat and took Jacob to cross-country practice on Mt. Tabor.

We had dinner together, grateful for the opportunity.

Unbelievable!

We occasionally bump into something that defies our expectations. Carol hit one this morning at a place called Blue Star Donuts. She stopped there after having breakfast with Barb.

One (that’s 1, Uno, Un) plain donut costs $2.75! Please don’t tell Buckeye Donuts, Honey Dip Donuts or Dunkin Donuts about the robbery that’s occurring out here.
