Something
has happened to our weather. It’s been pleasant but overcast since we arrived
in Portland. The sun peeks through occasionally. Hmm ... we seemed to have
gotten spoiled during our time with Barb and Kenny.
About
the Day
The
short version is that we had some fun and did some chores.
This
was a “Late School Day”. Jacob and Anna didn’t have to be there until 10:30. We
took advantage of the extra time by creating and enjoying a great breakfast of
waffles, bacon, pancakes and fruit.
Then,
it was off to school and into projects.
Dick
wooed Carol and Elizabeth off to lunch at the Cup and Saucer Café.
After school, Tim
and Carol took Jacob to his weekly riding lesson.

We
had a delightful dinner and finished the day assembling a homemade Carbonator
(think Sodastream). There'll be more on the Carbonator later.
